About
Owner's Story
My culinary journey began in the heart of my family’s kitchen, where I learned that food is more than sustenance—it’s a taste of love. From watching culinary classics on PBS, working in high-end restaurants to founding West & Taylor, every recipe I create is a reflection of my experiences and flavors that brought my family together around a crowded table.

The Journey
The story of West & Taylor began in loud kitchens watching mothers and aunts over hot stoves, feeding family and friends. Over the years, Christina, the owner, has honed her culinary skills by practice and years in restaurant kitchens. Wanting to utilize her skills, she offered in home meal preparation that expanded when families started reaching out for quick and easy meals to feed their busy families. Growing up in a farming family, a menu using local produce became important to Christina. She is constantly evolving techniques, recipes and skills while remaining rooted in the familial values that defined the food on her childhood table.

Our Location
Nestled in the Heart of Scottsville's Historic District, West & Taylor has expanded to it's flagship space. Our kitchen is located in the historic building that once held Allen County staples such as J & W Home Center, E's Place, Ninety & Nine and when horses were tied to posts along the road, the Allen County Bank.
